Even so. If you order delivery and it does take 30 minutes to arrive you can do other things during that time waiting for the food. When you cook for 30 minutes you've just spent 30 minutes cooking that you could have done other chores during if you had ordered delivery. The efficiency claim falls apart there too.

Truth #2 seems insane to me. What take out takes 30 minutes? It's an extra 5 minutes on my drive home (10 if they are fairly incompetent and not getting my business ever again) and then the same amount of time to drive home eating as it takes to drive home hungry and then begin to prepare food.
