That’s really, really cool. You asked if it would be cheaper in Lego than normal kits. Considering that most of the cost of official kits is to support their business model and not the actual plastic, the answer is likely “no”. It’d probably be really expensive.

Of course maybe if you got your own parts from bricklink…
