I just saw this article and I just to have ask this, IS SOMEONE AT io9 GOING TO BE FIRED FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT?! Because I have been seeing a pattern of clickbait being associated with people like Devin Faraci and Harry knowles.

Do I trust you

I think the modern movie audience has been schooled to have absolutely every single damn thing in a movie explained to them. In less than expert hands, this makes for a seriously dull film.

There are too many shows on TV. Too many shows! Who can watch all of these shows? I can’t watch all of these shows.

Errmmm....

I feel like this is too close to the movie. I like Watchmen, I’d even watch the series, but boy, everybody knows the ending by now. And I liked the movie. And the comic. I’d be constantly comparing all of them.

Unless you are adapting “before Watchmen”.

I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

How long will it take to get the Watchman after show, Watching Watchmen

Goddamn Lindelof, Orci, Kurtzman, Abrams, and the whole no-talent Bad Robot posse of hack schmoozers. Keep your filthy paws off a work of art. Why are these Transformers/Trek Into Darkes/Lost toy-level “writers” still working? Their idea of writing is to dream up a couple of Michael Bay scenes and then surround it

I’m confused: it’s September 19th, not April 1st. And a Lindelof-written Watchmen show is a gag, right? The “much-anticipated” crack is the giveaway, right?

Now playing

Well, they have the theme song done at least.

Neither did Bug.

Hot take, also the right take: Solaris did not deserve an F.

“I feel a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of fans suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.”

Really don’t know what to think. On repeat viewings my rating of TFA has dropped. It’s a good movie that is better than the prequels. I usually fast forward thru the middle of the movie.

I don’t see how anyone could fail to be excited by this. When you look at how well Alias ended... Well, okay, when you look at how satisfying Lost’s ending was... Ahhhh, fuck.
