While they’re at it, why not make them get colonoscopies just so that there’s no chance they’ll draft someone with prostate cancer, which could seriously put a dent in their performance on the field.
Tori Amos is the queen of this shtick. She proved back in the 90s how easy it is to slow down any song and make it sound artificially profound.
I think that’s precisely the point, Burner#29. Lebron would rather spend his own money than appear to support Trump in any way.
No, she didn’t.
They did the same thing last week with the Arnold/Bernard reveal. “My God, I’m...” Bernard says, and Dolores completes the sentence with a breathy “Arnold...”
I say sure, why not? It’s all just bitching and moaning about who gets a chance to lose to Alabama.
Are you trying to claim that NBA teams take the regular season seriously? That’s hilarious.
I wonder if you’ve ever watched the Warriors play. They play like dogshit a lot. That’s because, like every team in an 82-game regular season, they take possessions off, quarters off, even games off. When you watched them play last season, there was just a lot of teams that didn’t take the games seriously because it…
Usually, I hate this thought experiment, but in this case, there’s no question that if the race of the two men were reversed, there’s no way in fucking hell the shooter would be walking free right now.
Did you see his Kung Fu takedown of James Harden last night? Absolutely hilarious. I’m up here joking about having your foot on Golden State’s neck. Meanwhile, Green literally put his foot up on Harden’s neck last night and took him down by the shoulder. Unbelievable. The refs had to review it to determine whether it…
Amen, brother. I kind of feel it’s like calling holding in the NFL, though. If you want to call it, you could call it 3 times on every down.
I’m not sure the newsletter would do you any good if your comprehension is this bad. Perhaps another analogy would help.
Definitely not easy, because they are a really good team. But to me, the biggest reason people lose to them is complacency. How often did the Warriors have to come back in the 4th quarter last year? Teams just don’t keep their foot on the Warriors’ neck. Part of that’s the function of the regular season, but the…
When you look at the size and weight averages for the league, it’s actually pretty comparable. What’s true is that technique advances. Bird’s not saying that guys are bigger and stronger, but that their technique is better.
This was a great game. Both teams were playing the kind of sloppy, Thursday night in December, ball, but it was fun as hell to watch, especially when it went into double overtime and Draymond pulled a Kung Fu takedown of Harden. That was about the only highlight for the Warriors in OT, actually.
Oy... By that logic, the Cavs would’ve won last year if Love and Irving weren’t injured. This is almost as pointless an argument as could the Warriors beat Jordan’s Bulls.
I love how the template for the Awards Speech has devolved into a miniature 3-act drama.
Most definitely the Warriors would have problems adjusting to the 90s, as would the Bad Boy Pistons to 2016. Players like Dwyane Wade and James Harden specialize in generating fouls that would rarely be called a generation ago.
