Remember “Built Not Bought” during the Pacers/Heat series back when the Pacers were contenders? Everyone was rooting for those dudes.
Drop Durant into that scheme and see how it works.
How was this guy ever a thing?
I know. But the Tribe was on the cover of SI last year preseason. They’ve been positioning themselves for a while now to be good. The Cavs were contenders as soon as The Decision 2.0.
RGIII is a potential starting QB for the Browns this year. So, no.
This is the same thing that happened to Harry Reid!
Why are sports leagues so good at hoodwinking the public into financing them? If MLB actually paid for the development of its players, it would be an entirely different product. People might pay attention to the minors a lot more. They might have a draft that people would watch for 4 nights in a row on primetime.
Adam Silver looks like he’s sneaking a peek at Doris in that photo.
“iterate to evolve” should be tattooed on the forehead of every Silicon Valley douchebag. It’s the kind of meaningless gibberish using big words that used to be the cornerstone of Farrakhan impersonations.
Kyrie’s shirtless too. Tons of kids are shirtless and imitating JR.
You gotta feel for Varejao, man. All his prime flopping years wasted in Cleveland, and then the same season he gets traded, they win it all. Poor guy.
“Green was the best player on the floor last night”
How do you figure that? Last year, Lebron’s #2 scorer was Mozgov. Kyrie and Love were out of the series. There can’t be a bigger asterisk than that, unless Lebron himself got hurt.
I hope they gave that woman an enormous tip.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Warriors drop their Silicon Valley “disrupting the game” shtick. Based on the postgame presser with Kerr, it doesn’t seem likely. Bragging about doing hot yoga and admitting that they just “expected to win” is more of the horrendous groupthink that led them to sleepwalk through much…
Lebron is the coach of that team. You should look up the clip when he talks about the trade that brought JR to the team. Lebron is functioning at such a high level, that he genuinely deserves to refer to his teammates as “mine”.
I think the Warriors bandwagon has disappeared over the horizon. Their moment is past. If the end wasn’t when Green kicked Adams in the nuts, it was when Curry threw his mouthpiece. I just don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance that they come back at the level they were at this season, not with OKC and the Cavs…
That’s Ray Ratto!
That’s not rosé.
