“I’m going to break the law so that Conservatives will hail me as a hero! Wait, what do you mean they don’t have my back?”

Committing federal crimes for clout.

“That’s... not really a heist.”

Now playing

Jack Black has loved Nintendo for quite some time now

Jack Black is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs.

Seth Rogen seems like the kind of guy that comes in two forms, enthusiastic to the point of obnoxiousness or devoid of any enthusiasm. If you can’t get the former, you really should look elsewhere.

Right, he wasn’t being a diva or anything. Clearly, the people making the film said “ok, we want Donkey Kong to sound like Seth Rogan” and moved forward. If they had said “we want someone to do a voice” then I don’t think Rogan would have begrudged them for going with someone else.

Yeah, Seth says “I dont do voices, you’ll get a DK that sounds like me”
Producers: You’re hired!

Lets be clear about it, this is one of those “feature, not a bug” situations.

I don’t think he was ‘making demands’. He said ‘This is how I do my voice. If this is good for you, then cool.’ Blame the producers, if anyone. Seth was just upfront about how is performance would be and they still hired him despite that warning.

“Why is the article so mean-spirited? Why does he hate Hugh Jackman so much that he bursts into tears when hearing him sing? Is this guy okay?”      Not just that, but seeing Sanderson’s 15 year old son salt his Yakisoba makes him CRY. So either

I like Sanderson’s books, they’re definitely popular because they’re accessible and competently delivered as opposed to dazzling the reader with prose but there’s no shame in being the MCU of fantasy books.

The LEGAL presumption is innocence. He got the benefit of that presumption with the domestic violence allegation, and now he’s a free man. Doesn’t mean people who aren’t a judge or an empanelled member of his jury can’t look at his other skeevy behavior and draw their own conclusions.

The presumption is “not guilty” as far as the legal system is concerned. Employers can draw any conclusion they want.

I know it’s a joke and meme but it’s sad that a 38 year old man actually thought saying “in Minecraft” somehow made him immune to being charged with making death threats.

Now before everybody jumps on here and says he looks like what you’d expect a 4Chan tough guy to look like, hear me out...

He looks exactly like I would expect a 4Chant tough guy to look like.

More like, because the harassment comes from somebody who has no power over you, like a random viewer whom you can block, instead of your boss.

Imagine streaming on twitch because there’s less harassment.

They almost certainly do know, but they aren’t the ones making these decisions. They just have to check the boxes they've been given and hype the crap up with as straight a face as they can.

“Quick guys! Change from “shoot-the-purple-blob-the-game to shoot-the-highlighted-red-area-the-game.”
