To be fair to him, he's a freelancer and even the best game composers aren't exactly kicking back on their royalty checks. He probably didn't dig too deeply, and it also sounds like he got the gig before the invasion. And the studio may not be in a great spot either from the sound of things.

Probably showing exactly what age I am here, but I grew up playing a lot of WarioWare Inc. and We <3 Katamari, so I’m happy to see the games being more accessible to others.

GBA games have a bit more letterboxing than I expected, both on the vertical and horizontal axis, but it isn’t too bad.

I’m mildly disappointed there are no graphics options for the Game Boy games. At least, not obvious ones in the menus (not ruling out GBC palette options, but they’re not there by using the original button combos).

Original Game Boy games are in the green 4 color tinted 4 tone palette, GBC games are in full GBC glory.…

I could mostly ignore the art style despite not being a fan (the GB art style for LoZ is by far my favorite), but the LoD / fuzzy effect around the edges of the screen gives me migraines, on top of the performance issues and frame hitches.

I did actually appreciate that it had some added content.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I was so blown away when I just did NOT care for that remake. It’s like they made it all pretty and modern but then ignored the most important part of modernizing a game which is giving me an idea what the fuck I need to actually do.

Oracle of Seasons/Ages were shown in the “Games to be added” at the end of announcement.

Fingers crossed that Capcom allows the Oracle games to be present.
