Comment pointing out that private companies have the right to do whatever they want because they need to increase profits, and if you don’t get that, you’re a moron who doesn’t understand how the world works.

This is way less offensive than the Avengers designs, though. The Avengers characters truly look like the designers started from the movies, instead of the comic books, and then just altered people’s faces until they were just barely recognizeable. The characters in this game are just variations of the current comic

I think there’s a difference between “life” and “a human life worthy of full protection.” It’s reasonable to say that life starts at conception, but then also pretending that this “life” is somehow the same as an actual human being, and should have the same rights, is a semantic magic trick designed to fool people

“I also believe in equality, and in science, and in common sense.”

You wouldn’t co-stream a car, would you?

Look, it’s fine not to like these games, but Flight Simulator is an incredibly successful game (most recent release sold in the millions), and lots of people are excited about Psychonauts 2. Not to mention that Halo, Forza, and Gears are great series.

Yeah, I love that Forza unlocks things reasonably quickly, because I don’t enjoy all of the events. That way, I can focus on the races I actually like playing, just ignore everything else, and there’s still plenty of stuff to do.

Unlike Avengers, this does at least look like an actual game, not just a service designed to get as much money out of people as possible. So maybe it’s not complete manure.

The missing resolution options suck, there’s no excuse. But for keyboard support, I have to say, that doesn’t bother me too much. It bothers me much more when games that should clearly support controllers don’t support them, or don’t support them well.

This is probably obvious, but what’s happening here is that there are two groups of people who use the word “politics” differently. To the person writing this article, “politics” is used in the literal sense of the word (i.e. anything having to do with national or geopolitical power). But when anti-SJQ trolls or

There’s also option 3, which is “social networks make money from engagement; making people angry is the easiest way to get them to engage; therefore, social networks promote angry opionions, hoping to make everybody who consumes them also angry so they can then write their own angry opinions supporting or disputing

Do you know what the cause for this is? Rich people buy new cars a lot?

Indigo Prophecy is one of those games that I enjoyed way, way more than I feel I objectively should have enjoyed it.

“Virtue signaling is only benign insofar as it aligns to a company’s behavior”

Virtue signalling is valuable, though, since it enforces societal standards. I agree that companies should do *more*, but the fact that they do virtue signalling is not itself a problem.

Yeah, that’s it. The only verb in these games is “hurt”, and the only thing they can change is the nouns, so it probably didn’t even occur to them that “hurt poison ivy to celebrate pride” would be an issue. It should have, though.

Yeah, it has literally nothing to do with the KKK. That ball isn’t even connected to the KKK, as far as I can tell, it’s its complete own brand of local early 70s racism (in other words, America in the 70s).

I’m not going to comment on whether it is objectively bad or not, but this is a movie that is actually enjoyable to watch. It’s interesting, unlike a lot of other “bad” movies, which are just boring.

Yeah, it’s pretty common for people suffering from schizophrenia to stop taking their meds, and try other things instead. One reason is that schizophrenia meds typically have pretty brutal side effects, from drastic weight gain to a complete lack of energy.

I bet there are a ton of people who would rather take meth than take the Coronavirus vaccine, because meth is not made by the lizard people secret world order left wing round earth snowflake conspiracy.
