It’s not just about there being a ring on the finger, it’s supposed to be a cat hand.

That advice is....(•_•) / ( •_•)>⌐■-■ / (⌐■_■)...right on target.

100* many cars need more than 50 after their ecu’s have been reset to register anything
Also, just turn the car on and off about 3 times. That will trigger other codes to come back that have been erased on certain types of manufacturers

Easy. The answer is about 50 miles more then whatever miles are on the car you’re looking at. Because that is about when you’ll figure out exactly what is wrong with it unless you get it inspected. Seriously, just do it.

Disappointing seems like an understatement. More like terrifying lol. Were you in the car when it happened?

I hate coils in cars. I had a Saab’s heated seats catch fire once. Very disappointing.

We are talking about a Land Rover here so it probably did work fantastically well. Once.

One mannequin has noticed the fire but doesn’t seem too startled, the other is like “fire was so last year”.

Why heat the entire car?  Because SOME of us are busy heating the entire planet, Kristen.  Sheesh.

You beat me to it.  Just keep a couple of dead aliens in the trunk and you’re good.

So when these things are 10-15 year old and some person now drives this used gem, will the system be a broken mess that is to expensive for someone that owns a 15 year old Lincoln?

Hey guys...get a load of Jimmy Neutron here! While you’re at it, howzabout putting in some kind of “science box” that plays music or traffic reports WITHOUT WIRES!

Already tried it. Didn’t sell.

So the target market is “Pretty luxurious, but not off-street overnight parking luxurious”

I’ve got the heated strip on my Outback. It keeps ice from building up under the blades during a trip. It’s fantastic.

That’s what I was going to say. My old LGT had heated glass under the wipers... in 2005. What does heating the wiper do better? Even assuming your entire windshield is iced over, it’s not like running the blades over it will get rid of the ice; the blades won’t be in contact with the ice long enough to make any

How about some sort of system that takes heat generated by the engine and pumps it into the cabin via some ducts under the dashboard?  The system could be controlled by a few knobs placed in the center console area and perhaps for convenience a method of mixing the air with cooler external or air conditioned air would

This is kind of true.

Torch, you might be a spaz, but we love you anyways.

Ehh... none of those are hard to look at for me. Probably due to childhood exposure to this:
