@kyre: Just found the version someone made for OS X. I think that is what this is based on.

Any word on how long before it is easily installed by the average user? The article was a little light on details, but I would love to give that a try.
I can't see a lot of use for this, but it is a nice example of some interesting design work.
@Slinkytech: I can't imagine this working very well in a self defense situation.
@Moonshadow Kati: Well, I often wish I could travel with a knife just so I have it when I get where I am going. I am used to always having my pocket knife, and it can be annoying to have it missing during travel.
I really want to like the duo, but I just can't.
@naturewill: Check out RK-83 for iOS. Works pretty well.
That was surprisingly well done. I will now have to try hard to avoid saying "I have never processed so much joy data".
@KWOK: I found this on the Pathmark website. It might be the brand I was thinking of, but it looks a bit fancier than I remember ;) They may have jazzed it up a bit recently.

Google? Sometimes Wikipedia and occasionally other sites, but Google normally points me to the right Wikipedia page, and it searches most sites better than their own search tools.
@comics0026: I would say the lack of sophistication is what makes it unlikely. Wasn't it just a DDoS? We all know the government can do better than that if they want to take something down.
@crackel: Wasn't that your first statement?
@crackel: I think if there is anything we have learned over the past year of Wikileaks and Russian spies, it is that governments know a lot more than they let on.
@SkipErnst: And this would be a new development for Facebook how? I wouldn't put them above any breach in user privacy at this point, but I agree it would be a very bad idea.
@Elliuotatar: Doesn't that just mean you should have food in your shelter?
