Yeah the gintama manga can be a bit tiresome to read sometimes, since its about allot of things in japan, allot of references that most people wont get, which Subbers usually make clear, but I’ve always kind of preferred the Gintama anime over the manga, because they nailed the voice actors so well.

Unlike One piece, Gintama is still consistently good. One piece has been going downhill for quite a while now. The Comedy has become predictable and stale. While I was pleasantly surprised, I still feel like the tone was off. Deadpool just seemed more glib than insane. Jay from Clerks was more energetic and mouthy. I’m hoping it plays crazier in a full scene than it does in clips.
