Could be a good idea.  Google searches are barely useful now.  However, if the curating becomes political (regardless of orientation) it will become worse.

To me, the bigger problem are the ads they put at the top of the search results based on who pays the most. I bet most non-seasoned computer users are tricked into going to an incorrect site because it shows up as the top results.

I think there’s a lot of Ottawa cops who are about to have some spontaneous hearing loss. “What, I didn’t hear nothin’.”
