Considering there is no correlation between saturated fats and heart disease, there's really no need to avoid it unless you just plain hate coconut.

Contemporary Wushu and San Da at least.

I am a trained biologist (limnologist, actually, trained in Wisconsin and interned and did research on waste mitigation from farms) and Denise Minger is a nobody. Seriously, she is a nobody. She does not understand microbiology, human A & P, transit of disease nor biochemistry.

Thanks for your polite and reasoned reply.

Ha, rather ironic.

I wouldn't say "eat lots of protein" necessarily. I mean, I'm not one of those fans of T. Colin Campbell that think that you have to have a low protein diet or anything, but I've seen evidence that a high protein diet that is low in fat can deplete the body of vitamin A.

Generally, children that are autistic also suffer from gut dysbiosis. I don't know the numbers (and I doubt there are any official numbers), but from what I've read, it's probable that the vast majority suffer from gut dysbiosis. Naturally, then, a diet that is free of allergens and foods that are difficult to digest

Generally, that has to do with the study design. Results vary based on whether it was an RCT or cohort or whether it was just a biochemical isolation study. Generally you can understand the what and why by reading the text of the study and seeing if it first appropriately applies the scientific method.

I saw a study recently that said that squating or being in a squating pose helps you poop better. As for health effects beyond that, I don't recall seeing that mentioned in the study.

I follow the guidelines of the Weston A Price Foundation. It's similar to Paleo, with only a few differences.

I doubt it'll create calluses, since it's not a hard surface and you're just skimming it. But I can see hypersensitivity becoming an issue; especially for those (like myself) that seem to develop a repetitive motion injury rather easily.

I used to be an AMD fan (well, I still like their processors). But since my primary OS is Linux, I had to switch. Nvidia plays better with Linux.

I didn't like the look of Wind Waker until I saw it in action. Then it looked great.

This is what I'm running on my HTPC:

ASUS F1A75-I Deluxe FM1 AMD A75
AMD A8-3850 Llano 2.9GHz Socket FM1 Quad-Core (with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
IN WIN BP655.200BL case

I'd like to add in an nvidia card, but... I really don't think it'll even fit!

You can try using XBMC Hub Maintenance to clear the video cache, but I really don't think it helped me any.

That's what I was using too, before I built my HTPC. I just bought a 3tb external drive which at the time was too much for Boxee and it was unable to play video with the Hi10p codec (which was increasingly popular for anime).

Wait. Trust me.
