Well, they're both taking a process where solo auteurs are generally preferred by critics, and using assembly-line techniques to turn it into a "product, a commodity for mass consumption." If you're "not sure that that's a trend worth celebrating", it's as true of Barry Gordy's charm school graduates as it is Marvel

I'd say it's more like music geeks recognizing the quality of music produced by 60/70s era Motown. It is possible for something to be made by committee, widely popular, *and* done well.

My brother and I were almost named Devlin and Vaclav after our mother's Irish and father's Czech ancestors'. But in each case they were talked into a more conventional name by the other parent.

Fundraiser name ideas
"No Spoon Long Enough"

"If Even *He* Would Give Us Money…"

What boggles my mind is that the Patriots have become the Yankees of the NFL, and the Boston fanbase *cannot* wrap their minds around this obvious truth.

…mostly ends.

Problem is that Republican will be *the one* who tanked a nomination. And it *will* end their career. Yeah, but I've been around enough "G for Jesus" people to know that the folks holding (real) Packers stock skew as far right as the batch of CEOs who own the rest of the league.

Gotta love how the same piece of clothing signifies a young black man is a violent threat, but a middle-aged white guy is just a slob.

Hey, that *does* sound like something Belichick would make his players do.
