"He sold out and Trump never bought in."

…not really. There just probably wasn't much to it in the first place, and there *definitely* wasn't any evidence to stick it to them after Brady destroyed it.

Seconding this. Outside of the Patriots fanbase, Brady is an insufferable preppy even to White America.

Peyton at least suffered through some crappy years with the Colts, and had to deal with being overshadowed by his younger brother (for awhile, at least). Brady's been on a gravy train with biscuit wheels since the turn of the century.

Which is possibly the best "born on third base" scenario possible, which makes Mary's point even stronger.

"Ow! The ear! Why did you hit me in the ear?"

This is normally where I get to be all morally superior by being a Green Bay fan, but I *really* don't think that applies here.

Because to our neo-fascist POTUS, there is no such thing as a "meaningless photo op".

See, showing up just to call Drumpf trash to his face would be a goddamn hoot - or hell, just to call him "Drumpf". But be sure to get your trade lined up beforehand.

There's meeting *a* President, and then there's meeting *this* President.

This is the same rationale that would lead to a regular joe taking a comped trip to Cleveland Browns Fantasy Camp. Except here the Browns are fascists.

The knowledge that even Tom Brady's eventual retirement will only slow them down a bit annoys me greatly.

Tom doesn't really do much that isn't good, proper and obedient (that isn't initiated by Patriots management, anyway). Gronk…is a human bicep tattoo.

If Kanye's towering ego can find the will to get clear of Trump, I'd like to think some Patriots players can too.

Apparently the butter is on the toast as lubrication.

More to the point, I've had plenty of meat-substitutes that tasted *good*, they just didn't taste like *meat*. Maybe it's just because I'm not a martyr to vegetarianism that I care more about the quality of the food than it's resemblance to another food.

Think this is less a "DC Movie" than a "Lego Movie".

I remember a White American attempting to gauge the Black population of London by asking how many "African-Americans" lived there, and being puzzled by the response of "maybe 100?"

It would vary from 3 minutes to 22 depending upon relative positions in rotation. So regular same-day correspondence is still possible, just not real-time conversation.
