But most people don’t troll the internet looking for that info or for torrents. At most, some people might see reviews from a critics in another country and if the reviews are good, it’ll only help the movie.

Um...no. If a movie is good, it can do very well in the US, just look at TFA. It made half it’s money here. Europe and Asia are big markets too, of course, but they aren’t bigger than North America. The three are about equal at this point. Plus, there are many movies (especially dramas) made by the studios that will…
Yeah, at least Batman & Robin knew it was a joke and was in on the joke. Snyder actually thinks he’s doing something deep and revelatory here when all he’s doing is using classic superheroes to luxuriate in his own nihilism.
While I agree that a lot of people’s reactions are over top in both directions, the notion that people hate this movie because they can’t tolerate ambiguity and are too insecure to admit it is absurd. This movie is not good, deep, or even cogent. That it not only misunderstands but seems to despise the roots of these…
It absolutely did. You know that great smirk Wonder Woman gives during the battle? Gal Gadot improvised that and Snyder didn’t even get it until she explained it to him.
Yup, March 9 2012.
If the turd that is Hayden Christensen’s Anakin can be a force ghost than so can Han Freaking Solo! No explanation necessary.
I agree. I could see JJ making a kickass DCCU.
David Ayer if Suicide Squad is good.
With the added bonus that Wonder Woman’s standalone is being directed by someone other than Snyder. Someone who’s actually made good movies before.
Precisely.
No, always expect the worst. That way you get to be pleasantly surprised sometimes. Always being disappointed sucks.
There are probably several reasons:
OMG, it does look like Gary.
If Finn were a Skywalker, he’d be the one who exhibited force powers when confronted by Kylo, not Rey.
Yeah, but Furiosa was badass so it was far more believable.
She won her last Oscar for a Woody Allen movie, that’s who he’s referring to.
I think the hyperbole exists because it contains elements that are pretty rare in action movies these days:
They don’t want the child to have a life, that’s the whole point. They want to make the mother and the child an example to point to and say “don’t be a dirty slut girls or this will happen to you and your children”.
It’s been happening slowly over the last forty years but went into overdrive in 2008. The election of a black president drove a terrifying number of people crazy.
