Starred this for “Poltzing around” because that is one of the most perfect descriptions I have heard in relation to him... That man is never not touring somewhere in the world it seems.

I also endorse this.
Today is my Grandma’s birthday. The second since she died. I am going over to see my Grandpa shortly to have lunch with him and my Dad. I think we are going to have to go over and go through her things soon, he has put them all in a spare bedroom and hasn’t opened the door in the almost two years since she went.
I personally loved it as well. I’ve already seen it three times and was contemplating going again at the weekend.
I am 100% with you on all of the above
Thank you, he was awesome. It’s been almost six years since he died.
I used to have a neighbour like that, he was retired and widowed and he used to take care of us all. He used to mow my lawns while I was at work and he always put my bins back in my yard for me and used to bring me food all the time, mini fritattas and scones with jam and cream mostly..... he fed me more meals then I…
I have seen it three times already, I love it so much.
It definitely will. I have always watched that sporadically, although actually sat through the whole season this year.
I recommend the UK version of Masterchef, which is the original, it’s fantastic.
I prefer the original (and still the best) UK version. I tried watching our Aussie version and hated it after years of watching the original, and I was horrified that the US bought the rights to our Aussie version instead of the original.
It is really good... I was surprised when I first had it, even with the onion, which I am not really a fan of, she soaks it in lime juice first. I however love olives with anything and always have so was never going to leave them out :-)
Nigella Lawson has an excellent watermelon and feta salad that includes kalamata olives, thinly sliced red onion and lime juice, along with mint and flat parsley. It is delicious
I’ve been doing that lately as well.
I know.. my belief is the same, and still is, I think that my Aunt’s and Mum really only talk to their brother or parents at their graveside though, despite that experience my Aunt had, I almost feel like it was more a message from my Grandmother to my Aunt to tell her her only son was with her wherever they are but…
Yes.
Me too.. I think he was the first actual age appropriate celebrity crush (we are the same age) I ever had.
I was just about to say that their was also a bust of him shown at Columbia, so he technically got his own cameo within the movie as well as the mention in the credits, which I loved.
I have a story about dead people visiting in your dreams. It has happened to me before, randomly, but this specific story happened to my Aunt (who claims to be a non-believer). About 6 months after we buried my Grandmother, and after my Uncle’s ashes were meant to have been transferred from the gardens of the…
I dreamt every aspect of my Grandmother’s funeral - from the flowers to the music to my Mum’s eulogy - the day before she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and three months before she died.
