100% agree with everything you just said. I do feel like I took back my life. I have lost 60kg (132lbs) and counting and I feel so much better about myself and my life is so improved, I am so much more active and feel comfortable in my own skin for the first time in almost 20 years.

He will always be Spike to me...

My parents split 21 years ago and my Dad held on to this bitterness (despite him being the one who left and both being remarried for) ... Last year I had gastric sleeve surgery, and my Mum asked me to make sure he would be ok with her having his number to call him when I got out of surgery... it was like a switch was

I also feel like all the complaining about his ‘straight relationship’ with Mary is downplaying what was in fact a very significant relationship... to the point that when he died he left her a large part of his fortune, including a share of the publishing and his home in London, which she still lives in today.... so

Hi Jezzies,

Same for me. Definitely my go to every Christmas.

I don’t think you are being unreasonable at all. It is a place of business and I can’t understand how someone, anyone, would take “wear anything” to mean that meant that going around in only a bra was acceptable. I’m afraid I don’t really have any advice on what you can say to her though; I am not sure how to safely

I became legit the same way.

I personally pick up other accents really quickly. I lived in London for a few months when I was 19, but things didn’t work out the way I planned (relationship I was in broke down rapidly after we arrived), so I decided to come home to Australia, this was before the days you could book flights directly online and I

My Mum did that to a local anchorman once; he was a prick and notoriously into himself and trying to push his way ahead of 4 other patients at the GP’s office she worked at. She pretended not to recognise him, even when he gave her his name and told him he was early and there were still 4 patients ahead... he pulled

I know, in Australia at least, most (if not all) of the venues he was booked to play cancelled his shows. I had the gastric sleeve done at the beginning of February and I am good with sparkling water... I don’t drink a lot of it but my dietician told me as long as it doesn’t cause me reflux it is fine in moderation.

You’re most welcome. I am more than happy to. It is the best decision I ever made after years of trying everything else (not even talking fad diets, but working under the guidance of medical professionals, dieticians and exercise physiologists).

Yes to all three, although I try not to eat bread (I have a piece of toast for breakfast on weekdays and that is all the bread I eat all week) or pasta too often. I have found a pasta product on the shelf here in Australia which is made of pulses, so has protein in it, but I have been advised to limit my intake of

I also loved the wedding dress. I thought it was beautiful.

It is hard to imagine, and everyone is different in what and how much they can tolerate it seems, but for example, I had tacos, well, taco... whereas once I may have eaten at least 4, now I can manage one, maybe one and a half, depending on the day and how much filling I use, I suspect it would be the same for a

I had it done, recently, 13 weeks ago as of the Friday just gone and it has already changed my life. Since starting the pre op preparation at the start of the year I have lost a total of 31.5kg (just shy of 70lbs), 20 of those kgs since surgery (9 February).

This makes me very happy. I loved the last season and watching Phil’s genuine and very expressive enthusiasm and excitement was such a nice change of pace.

I love the pineapple and watermelon, that is probably my favourite, followed by original; I do enjoy the grapefruit as well, but I like grapefruit in general so it was always going to work for me. I choose the other two first though.
