I don't have a slutty dress, I have a really pretty satin nightgown that I bought many years ago and is always the one thing that never gets tossed in a clean up because "one day I will fit into it"

Does money that you have put into a pocket of a jacket you haven't worn for a while, forgot was there and then discover years later count as secret money?

This was my nephews favourite joke for about 6 months ... he loved telling it every time he met anyone new

Congratulations

100% would...

I have been passively agressively sharing any link I see to blogs and reviews about how abusive the relationship in this book is whenever I see someone raving about it on my facebook page... it's almost become an automatic reaction...

Yes... I was culling the list of people I follow on twitter on Friday night and I came across his account in my list (I did not unfollow him, couldn't do it) and got really sad all over again...

This was a fantastic breakdown... everyone should read it

This is how I feel.. I kinda want to see it for the shitshow it will inevitably be but my unwillingness to contribute to the box office in any way will stop me.

I drove my parents crazy with the amount of times I watched Cry-Baby... I know I wore out at least one video cassette, possibly two.. and I painstakingly wrote out the lyrics to all the songs in a notebook. Going back and forth making sure I had every word right.

Ditto Ditto Ditto... right through to the starting to comment and deleting because I was sure no one would want to hear me.... I still don't comment much but that I comment at all is a big step for me and no small part of that was because my favourite commenter became a full fledged writer on this site

Not the only one.. I am right there with you... I have seen him live 3 times and would see him live any day of the week. I managed to snag second row seats once and was so happy.. the concert was fantastic but the thing I most remember was these two young guys maybe 15 sitting beside me one of whom was a massive fan

I remember when twitter was in it's early days I followed Amber Benson, she was like second or third person I ever followed and she sent me a direct message thanking me and I was so ridiculously excited by that... I think i would have reacted exactly the same way you did if I was ever in the same room

I met Chris Isaak once... he was signing autographs after one of his concerts. I made my Dad wait for me for 45 minutes while I lined up to have him sign my shirt.... I love him a lot so was very excited.

As an Aussie I say just reach back to the original version of The Slap but then I was fairly annoyed by the insinuation I read recently regarding the US version which was pretty much 'yes it is similar to the original but of course we have tweaked it and made it better' (I am paraphrasing here of course, but that was

You are welcome .. I just thought I clearly have not been stalking your twitter enough ;-) I used to just lurk and you were always my favourite commenter so I was very excited when I saw your first article up on the site. Good luck with your new endeavours.

**slowly raising hand** me too.... and it's just after lunchtime here... I think I need to leave work early...

Farewell Burt - I have greatly enjoyed your writing and have just learnt that I apparently do not spend enough time on twitter since I totally missed your announcement that you were leaving ....

Yes.. we all started out hating Louis, lets be honest :-)

Yes... I was going to comment to say I think all of the women are well written on this show but Donna and Jessica in particular. I love both of these characters so much.
