Their latter day albums (Jupiters Darling, Red Velvet Car, and Fanatic) all have their moments of rocking hard. The 80s/90s was a departure for the band, but at their core they've always been more the 70s/2000s sounds than the 80s/90s.

Ann Wilson to this day hates that song. Apparently the record company forced them to do it due to a debt they owed Mutt Lange. Other than the tour that immediately followed that album, they've never played it live.

That's hilarious. Are there any other old jokes you care to share with us? It's amusing that someone who calls themselves "anal goat" is making fun of anyone, much less a hall of fame millionaire rock singer.

She has the best live voice I've ever heard, no doubt.

They cheesed out just like Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, and Van Halen. That's what rock bands did in the 80s. They tried to continue the Zeppelin sound in the 80s on Private Audition and it tanked. Can't blame them for doing what they had to to pay the rent.

That's your opinion. Battle of Evermore gets great reviews on youtube and with critics.

The Moog was all over early Heart work (Dreamboat Annie and Magazine which was really Heart's second album since it was recorded prior to Little Queen).

And Howard Leese.

I agree with most of this review, but the last paragraph says that there are "too many of these mellower numbers to be a true return to form" which tells me the reviewer hasn't listened to Dreamboat Annie, Little Queen, or Dog and Butterfly (Heart's classic albums that would be the form they aren't returning to). All

Exactly. That was a great read. Every album had it's own drama going on either with personnel or the record company. It wasn't until the D&B album that the band really became Ann and Nancy's band. They made some mistakes, but what I found interesting is the Wilson's drive; with every failure they've had they came

Oh yeah? I need to check the VH-1 thing you're talking about. What do you mean by harsh?
