@yah5: I stand corrected.
From what I heard, the reason for the ban is that Blackberry's encryption is harder to crack making it difficult if not impossible to monitor emails and text messages. Keep in mind we are talking about a Monarchy who does not put high priority on individual privacy and rights. I would think that there would be as…
@Helis: There are many other RC helicopters that would work better with a paint ball gun rigged to the bottom.
@V@no: Funny but no. I would assume that you would have to activate an application and then place the phone near the device. I also would assume that the range of the device would not be more than a few inches.
Come on! That can't be true! They had them in Jurassic Park so they must have existed!
@Mako: Dogs usualy have to travel in the cargo hold which is not pressurized. Personally, I am glad that my guide dog will never have to travel as other animals do in the cargo hold.
@captfoss: Actually, the virtual keyboard on the iPhone works rather well for a person who is completely blind. Blind type would allow the person to use that keyboard whether he or she is typing on the left, right, top, or bottom of the screen. I do not know if the original intention was that it would be an…
The bumpers are Apple free? Why would they put Apples in their bumpers? Oh, you mean free Apple bumpers! It is funny how word placement changes the meaning of a sentence.
@captfoss: :It is common in the blind community to have the QWERTY keyboard memorized. I am blind and I know many others who type based on an intimate knowledge of the QWERTY keyboard, and software echoing what is typed.
@captfoss: I would assume that this would work in conjunction with a screen reader that echoes what the person types. Ergo, it would not learn to type "garbage".
@neoanime: Honestly, from a blind perspective, a physical QWERTY keyboard is all that is needed. Braille would not help so much. I type fast as I know where all the keys are on the keyboard. I make mistakes but not many. Besides, most people are not taught Braille at all unless they are born blind and that is…
"I'm not sure what practical purpose BlindType serves..."
All those details aside... it just looks photoshoped. Lighting in cockpit is darker than it should be given how sunny it is outside.
..and since we all have at least one wood stove in our homes the practicality of this is amazing.
This is old hat, and there are adapters made for just this job. However, resolution and color tend to be poor. Perhaps if you shoot with a high end DSLR your resolution might be decent. Unless your light source is adequate then you will have color issues. It would be better to spring for a 250 some odd dollar film…
It would stand to reason that one should be able to mark a spot taken once you park there. With my luck, I would use this app, find a spot four blocks away, and upon arriving home find a spot in front of my house.
Be careful! Not all office buildings or stores allow access to the stairwells in non-emergency situations. Check with security or a store employee first.
Why only exorcise during the commercials? Get a cardio step balance board and do a step routine as you watch your show. Alternatively, get a stationary bike and pedal while you watch you favorite tv show.
