Have to start somewhere. Ball physics in a basketball game are extremely important, not sure why you'd think otherwise. If they are rebuilding for the future, a non-realistic engine with bad physics will be the first thing that would need to be addressed. Everything else comes after.

That typically was the whole point of Counter-Strike. It became a sense of learning how to aim, how to properly reduce recoil without the added guide of ADS. I actually owe most of my gaming prowess to FPS's now a days thanks to my time spent in Counter-Strike.
