This looks like a PS1 era Square game transplanted to the modern gen and I am here for it.

They published an excerpt in the New Yorker that had that sister’s breasts section and I was like “ah, so this is Norwegian Wood Haruki and not Hardboiled Wonderland Haruki” by which it means it probably blows chunks.
Bloodborne has the best lore. Somebody wrote a 72 page book about it on Google Docs. It slaps. The whole game is a masterpiece. Buckle up.
I haven’t been playing much of anything since finishing Yakuza 0's story mode. I booted up Grand Theft Auto V once to rampage and found out there’s a working subway/light rail system in Los Santos that has stops and everything. I’ve probably put 50 hours into that game and just now found that. Wild.
At first I was a little miffed half-way through the show at how it was marketed. The trailers and first few episodes promised me a sad but inventive trip down Sunshine for the Spotless Road and what I got was that but with a comedy turn from Justin Theroux that puts anything else I’ve seen this year to shame. but…
I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet that Owen really hates his brother but just lacked the spine pre-trial to break from his abusive family.
What I loved about MST3k as a kid watching it was it forced me and my friends to go out and learn about things we never would’ve looked up otherwise because we wanted to “get” the jokes. This is most true when we all rushed to figure out who the hell Larry Zonka was after watching Final Sacrifice for the first time.
A game of Settlers of Catan going long?!?! Why I never! Next you’ll tell me people were being vindictive and withholding resources and all ganging up on whoever was in first to prolong the game forever.
I haven’t played Titan Quest in years but I remember really vibing with it more than the Diablo series despite them being almost identical. It really is the setting and art. I’ll stand up for the character art not because it’s unique or amazing but because it so much an artifact from that era it’s like a perfectly…
I’m hoping we’ll get more light shed on the TellTale situation later as the suddeness of the closure is still insane. I am betting it’s assumed acquisitions falling through but still how do you let your cash flow get that out of hand to the point where you just have to fire hundreds of people. Hope the people who lead…
The aesthetics of Frostpunk are very appealing to me but the idea of getting that stressed out in my free time does not.
This is the wholesome content I need to escape today’s hell newscycle.
Fortnite is a kid’s game nobody dies! Haha, they just get teleported out of the arena by a magical robot after being shot 37 times.
Being able to tag every enemy and always know where they are is probably my least favorite addition to stealth games in the past two console generations. I want to have to actually keep track of them in my head and use my wits not just manage 23 different dots.
Yeah I read an interview where apparently Joel didn’t want them talking over the movie so they had to fire the jokes out during dialogue breaks which killed the timing. Hope they heard the criticism this time.
It was a mixed bag like literally every other season of MST3K. There were some Red Zone Cubas (the Wizard ones) but there were also some Final Sacrifices in there (the Bigfoot one and Dutch Godzilla). Obv those weren’t as good as Final Sacrifice but you get what I mean.
Yakuza definitely has a big Shenmue influence and both being Sega franchises I wouldn’t be suprised if the games share a lot of devs (I’m too lazy to look that up tho).
Oh snap Yakuza 0 is the game revue game!?! Let’s see if I can dig my steam password out of whatever crate it’s in so I can get rewarded for playing htis game at a goddam glacial pace.
Man I didn’t even peep the comments on the Castlevania article that day cuz I was in a rush and mostly skimmed the article. Didn’t even occur to me people would get that upset for calling Symphony weird. The Internet I tell ya!
