I played a lot around launch when everybody sucked enough to learn to hang back and avoid the corners but what will always happen is I will get a perfect opportunity to shoot on goal and line my car up wrong or something and just knock the ball way the hell up in the air... then spam the Sorry! emote over and over.
You call that a wall of text? Pfffft. Shin makes that look like a comment on a YouTube video about getting there first.
I’m frankly amazed Kingdom made it to consoles. It seems like such a strange PC only anamoly like Mount & Blade that I worry the console versions wouldn’t get updated enough. I might pick it up eventually though because it seems right up my alley.
Not to get all conspiracy theory to the max but I believe part of the pouplar theory is that Kennedy had soured on Vietnam and was planning on drawing down and coming home asap. This is how he would’ve stopped it escalating and it’s why the CIA killed him... in theory. Conspiracy Theory technically.
Still mostly taking it sleazy with a casual replay of Super Mario 3D world. I made it to the Special levels and they still don’t really excite me that much. Also in the past week I booted up Rocket League to find out I’m still terrible, Fortnite to find out I’m somehow worse now and Wheels of Aurelia to find out it’s…
bae that’s called hoarding.
**don’t look at this if you haven’t beat Nier Ending E**
I’d heard mixed reviews of Rime as “low-rent Zelda” but I suppose Free is Free...
I’m on the fence with one unit per tile as good or bad. I got my start in Civ IV so I was used to stacking a bunch of troops and basically running train on units and cities but when I switched to Civ V, I liked the one unit per tile trick because it made battle feel more dynamic. If I or the enemy wanted to run in…
I think in these games there are certain enemies that the game kinda says “you might want to skip this fellow” and the brainhuggers (Winter Lanterns is the official title) are definitely in that category. It’s poorly communicated but they actually only cause Frenzy when they’ve noticed you so you can sneak past them…
I always took Limbo as the children having both died in a car crash and the little boy stuck in a loop trying to reunite with his sister. Never considered the Tree House... That’s much more Stephen King-y and suburban. I like it.
Finished Nier Automata the other week and as you may have heard, it’s very good. It’s the good stuff. It’s got it’s problems but it’s good as shit. Hell, shoot that weird shit straight into my veins bay-bay but maybe less male gaze next time.
Anyway, lately after finishing a game I bulldoze into the next one…
yo dude, you suck ass. delete your account.
I’m sure I’m not the only kid who parked in front of Toonami all afternoon sucking down chocolate milk and thinking to myself “what if they made video games that looked exactly like anime?” so it’s crazy to see that the day has come.
right up to the finish line there. Didn’t know how close those two were. Publicity tour must have been a real gas.
This is a one hundred percent good and fair point and I’d be lying if I didn’t say that my attachment to low poly design is because it was during my formative years that it was around. Still just because we could re-wrap Mario 64 with higher quality textures doesn’t mean we should. I believe that the blockiness of…
Finished Nier Automata a few nights ago and opted for Route C. I liked a lot of the ideas the game put forth and every so often it would have these little bursts of something meaningful but it was buried in too much bland video game sameness for me. Somebody here (shin?) warned me not to expect too much from the story…
There’s a gameological discord? Cool.
I haven’t gone whole hog into a 2d platformer since Super Meat Boy really (unless you count half finishing Donkey Kong Returns which I wanted to like more than I actually did) so this looks right up my alley... but so do a billion other games that came out last year. Let’s just get all the devs, Indie, AAA, Japanese,…
