Damn that is a neat little thing. I have heard about Pico 8 but didn’t realize there was a tiny gameboy type device to play the games on. Neato.

Why get up? Here’s a little move I’ve been tinkering with
Doctaur, get off yer keister and finish the game. It’s got an A+ ending that knocks it out of the park.
This is a very good writeup that addresses a lot of my hesitations with the current trend of HD Remasters. Though I don’t know if I agree with this statement whole hog:
I was shit at using Blanks which always held me back. I’d end up hoarding them thinking I’d need them later and die with like three still ready to go. God, I might have to get back into that game I just wish that the first two floors went by faster. I remember those always felt like a slog to get to the good stuff.
Yeah it’s like you know there’s crazy under the hood they’ve just been teasing and I’m sitting here like “Just give me the crazy already!”
It’s been a while since I played but isn’t the fourth floor boss “The Wall” (i know they cycle but I always got him it felt like)? I’ve only beat him once and it was through sheer luck. Impressive arsenal indeed.
Makoto is best girl but Ryuji... Ryuji is best friend.
How do you even put Q in a game? He’s basically just a human manifest Debug mode. Still as a big lover of the TNG through Voyager years this mod sounds way too tempting to me.
Dead Cells and Hollow Knight are the two games I’m waiting for on PS4 more than anything though Hollow Knight is still unconfirmed for the system.
Everything about Metal Gear Survive leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If they were going to reuse MGS assests just make a soft-canon Stealth game about some Joe Shmo who was inspired by Big Boss or something. Instead we have the Afghanistan map with a Rust Clone pasted onto it. Blech.
I’m nearing the end of the 9s route in Nier and I have a lot of thoughts about the game but I think I will try and process everything after the third route.
Also been intermittently playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 Xbox version. Those games hold up surprisingly well which really isn’t that surprising. They perfected a…
Love Da Share Zone but not neccesarrily clamoring for a TCG based on the Admin mythos. Wish he’d put out better shirts tho. The ones they have now don’t capture the same ethos as the twitter.
He gets better. Don’t worry.
The first dungeon is super tutorial heavy but I feel like it’s not a huge sludge because the dungeon itself is such an interesting one. Some of the later dungeons (full disclosure I’ve only finished 5 of the 10) are pretty uninspired in terms of how they tie into the real world. The first one though is a great…
I feel like I’m getting the same type of industrial hypnosis I get watching that show “How it’s Made” I could just stare for hours. Also it seems like you really need an engineers brain to get your head around it because I can’t make heads or tails of most those gifs.
I’ve been looking for another narrative game to play with my wife after finishing Broken Age. Could this game fit that bill? Keep in mind that like most people she has a low tolerance for anime non-sense. I’ve heard there’s a wild twist buried in Doki Doki that breaks it free from the usual VN fanservice garbage.
Nightmare Frontier is the most accurately named place in all gamedom. Hate those boulder tossing giant children or whatever they’re called. Ugggghhhhh so many lost lives to those punks.
The bloodborne run was crazy good. I usually don’t like what I’d call YouTube Twitch personality types but the runner was funny despite of his numerous beard jokes. It was also insane to watch him make mincemeat of bosses that took me numerous tries just by knowing exactly how to stagger them... though it made me feel…
the wacky bridge building sim genre, is one that has sprung up in the last few years that is almost enough to make me dust off my old steam account. They look like good zoning out fun.
