Have you played through XCOM 1 or 2 vanilla or are you just going straight in on the hardest mod you could find?

I had a lot of trouble finding Not a Hero's rhythm which is weird, because that studios other games OlliOlli 1 & 2, were so easy to pick up and instantly get into. I knew that reload timing was part of it but that went against my urge to shoot, slide and repeat til safe. I also found it's humor kind of grating. …
Jump for 64 gb as you can find those really cheap on Amazon and as for PS1/PS2 classics, they got oodles of great RPGs but really it's the Ape Escape games you need to jump on. They're history's most neglected platforming masterpieces.
These guys aren't gonna break into Shigeru Miyamato's house though and start torturing him and shit are they though?
It's a cool inversion of what you're used to and clever design but yeah, goddam if it doesn't melt the inside of your eyes.
Getting up to the end of the Witness. I made it into the mountain and am having a go with the "fuck your retinas" flashing and moving puzzles. I've got 8 lasers unlocked and am on the last puzzle in the town. I'm okay with not unlocking the lasers for bird chirp land, the boat and whatever the bamboo forest hides…
That is actually like my ideal gameplay type. I have loved the hell out of the Witness but it's been tough as you can't dip in or out because if you leave the Witness for a week or two you come back and have to spend 15 minutes reminding yourself how all the puzzles worked. Having a game (usually it's Multi-player…
I've been debating a second playthrough because the combat really was a blast once you got high level so I think a NG+ on the hardest difficulty would be a blast but so many other new games coming out right now.

Play the Witness and try and get a good open schedule so you can play it concentrated for a bit. It needs a fair amount of attention at first for you to start internalizing all it's logic. Otherwise if you come back after a long break, a lot of stuff will have slipped out of your mind in terms of how stuff works in…
Is this your first Witcher 3 playthrough or this is a New Game Plus situation?
Mass Effect 2's loyalty missions were it's bread and butter so I'm not surprised that they're still the highlight. It's always nice to have a self-contained little story in the ME universe that doesn't deal with some giant threat to all living beings.
Hell yeah, to the real-life roleplaying version of Stardew Valley. My tomatoes took over everything and wouldn't stick to their stakes last year so I'm gonna try that string them to an over hanging plank thing. I have a neighbor who does and why it does make the plants look kinda weird it works.
Damn, theater dates with talking cats? That's the best selling point I've heard so far.
Get the Everything game. I want to but am waiting for a sale.
I actually liked SR3's slightly more grounded zany approach to the SR4's sense of "let's just go crazy". Also, the gunplay in SR3 felt better to me.
You liked the single player in BF1? I found it kinda meh, considering how much they hyped it in some reviews. You get more memorable moments in a random Conquest match than most of the story missions I felt. Also the stealth was bunk.
Well shit man, Nier is supposed to be like 60 hours with multiple playthroughs for all the true endings. I'm more amazed that everybody beat it in like a month. I have a buddy who is harping on about it dropping hot takes like "better than zelda" so it's on my radar, but it's just really tough to get over the…
I find most consoles are clunky as media centers. I alternate between a Roku for all my streaming stuff and Playstation for strictly games (with the exception of Spotify streaming which is actually integrated fairly well). That way when I boot it up I'm not expecting it to be some super sleek machine, just the thing…
Yeah, I gave that a try because of my love of Mark of the Ninja (same devs) but it just feels like a clunkier XCom without the satisfaction of blowing away aliens with a big gun. Also the art style reminds me too much of Kim Possible and those old Esurance commercials from the late '00s.
