Coming off the Witcher III, which is already a game of daunting size, I'm a little hesitant to start into another 50 hour quest-heavy game like MGSV. I wish there was maybe a Diet MGS V that was half the length so I could still get my head into the story and some of the missions without getting bogged down in some of

Skyrim is probably the best game I've ever played in terms of wandering. It just feels like a natural thing to do in that world. If you're playing on PC, you should definitely get the Invisible HUD mod. No clutter on the screen, just the relaxing skyrim woods, some butterflies and occasionally a troll or something.

That's always the hitch with open world games like this. I had the same problem in Batman Arkham Knight. You sit down thinking, okay I'm gonna finally knock through some of these story missions, and on your way to the story starter you see a little widget just a bit out of the way and you nab it then, you're like,

I didn't even think to try the Witcher in polish. I've a soft-spot for Geralt's raspy voice but I do find most other voice actors to be pretty weak. Other than the Bloody Baron. The guy who did his voice knocked it out of the park.

Fox… fox… fox…

Witcher 3 is so good you guys. It's so good. Minor Spoilers I guess I made it to the Novigrad quests and it feels like the game has really picked up it's pace. The first two main quests with the Baron and the Bog were interesting but didn't have the forward momentum and fun of the Novigrad gang quests. The

I'm too lazy to do it but I'm sure there's an Escape from Monkey Island pun in here somewhere…

Oh man, this is almost as good as Crab Battle!

Oh man, the Soundtrack enlivens the combat so much! That lady singer's "Hai-lai-hai-lai-hai-lai" singing just gets me amped as all hell, while still feeling kinda classy, like I'm listening to an obscure 3 am Public Radio program… probably Going Beyond Words which rules. http://www.goingbeyondwords…

Oh man, I fell off the wagon after Grand Tournament and re-downloaded Hearthstone again. I had forgotten how much of a time-sink this goddam game is if you want to play for free. I farm, and farm and farm and farm and then I finally get enough gold for Arena, and I totally botch my deck building and build a real

I know it's unfair to dislike a South Park episode for it's politics because they're always touting how 'politically neutral' they are but yeah, ManBearPig stinks of something I'd expect Glenn Beck to type in his secret Fan Fiction Dropbox account. That episode blows.

Oh man, I remember getting that demo from Pizza Hut I think. Best thing I ever bought from that chain that's for sure.

Have you previewed some of the levels reviewers are making so far? I think Polygon threw up a "top 5" video and people are getting wild with that game. I wouldn't be surprised to be saying those low-effort headlines soon with "Someone created Tetris in Super Mario Maker" or "Someone created Tekken 4 in Super Mario

There's not as much 'flow' as the first game and there's a lot more 'baiting' but I personally found it to be a blast still and really liked the multiple character story line. Despite a very confusing and frustrating final boss fight, I found the game just as enjoyable as the first one and one campaign in particular

I think the amount of work CD Projekt put into little things with Geralt and other character's animations really goes a long way to humanizing them. I've noticed that they'll break eye contact sometimes during cut scenes but not in a huge obvious way. That and the nicer dialogue options they afford Geralt help. I'm

Living the life of ol' Johnny Late-to-the-Party and continuing my leisurely stroll through Witcher III. I've finally got a hold of the combat and let me say, I absolutely adore Geralt's dodge animation. That little leap. When I'm a little drunk and playing (because I feel like that fits with the setting) I like to

You can reserve spots on the Comment Chain! Wow, that's just disqus-ting.

It's like a bureaucratic labyrinth of incompetence. Glad you finally got everything worked out and got to drop a great pun on everyone in the end.

"You know what a rap beat really needs? Bonobo screeching sounds."

That's on my steam wishlist but I'm afraid of it because of the reason you basically listed. Survival games are flippin' brutal. I can barely make it a couple days in Don't Starve, subsisting off berries and rabbit meat until I go insane, and I tried Eidolon which is like a less-polished Long Dark from what I've
