Anybody else confused by the subplot about Kendall tying up Roman as a boy? Why had Roman deluded himself into thinking it was terrible when the others swear he enjoyed being in on the fun? And, most of all, why did it seem to piss Kendall off so much, leading him to push Roman in the elevator etc.?

Why do you call yourself a “former” We Made It Weird Listerner?

Well said lebkuchen I agree 100%. Another thing I love about this show is the nuance of the writing. There’s enough interpretive room for viewers to take different things from it and debate characters’ motives and positions, rather than everything being spelled out. It’s complex and fascinating and realistic.
