Figured there would already be some cynical Deadspin post on this. Yeesh. Get over it. Kobe Bryant was a great player. One of the best of all-time. There’s no way around it. People may have hated him, mocked him, and statistically proved he wasn’t the “best” but no one can ever take away the excitement he generated whenever he had the ball. You always wanted the ball in his hands and when he failed, you never felt cheated. I'm going to miss his all or nothing approach to the game.
