Excellent points meritxell! I, for the life of me, couldn't figure out what actually sparked all the carnage. It was a jarringly abrupt shift. The movie felt like an incoherent mishmash beautifully nightmarish scenes. The acting (especially Hiddleson, Irons and Moss) is what really saved it for me.
