Thanks for asking me some really weird questions, it's a lot different interview than I'm used to. And I learned a little bit more about jalopnik because I didn't know much.

That picture was last year.
I'd say it's pretty good, it would be ok if there was a road course race in the Chase and less super speedways.
Possibly.
Yeah, they're a lot heavier and the engines are slower and it makes it so that you make it momentum around the top, which is like anything you run up here.
I'll go hard.
Well... I don't see myself running many more Outlaw races here so a truck win... but King's Royal would be awesome. Truck win would be cool because I never thought I'd run a truck at Eldora.
Yeah, I would, that thing is sweet. But I want a VW Van or Bus.
They have "mud off" which is basically water and, I don't know, it looks milk that a lot of people spray on cars when the track is muddy.
I think just having a background in dirt and understanding how the track changes and having a lot of laps around Eldora helps me compared to the other NASCAR regular drivers. It's nice being a dirt ringer.
So... I've driven a stickshift before, but for some reason in the stock cars I've blown up transmissions and engines from missing shifts, so Chevy gave me a Camaro to get familiar with the motion. I don't think it really helped me that much, because you don't shift a Camaro like you do a stock car. It was just more…
I haven't talked to chip about it yet, but I was happy to see it went well with Kurt so it would make it easier if I did ever ask to get the answer I'm hoping for.
I noticed I've been getting a bit of a North Carolina accent, so I did an interview last week and I don't remember what I said and they were like "you're getting a NC accent." I guess I've been picking it up, I guess I won't be super hick like people way down from the south.
OK
To compete in the X-Games in Rallycross would be awesome, I was really jealous of Nelson and Scott Speed and stuff got to do it, growing up you'd never think you'd get an X Games medal.
With like jumps and stuff? Yeah, I would do it.
My favorite series to run in in cars to drive is the World of Outlaws sprint cars, it would just be really cool to compete in the Indy 500.
I like right turns, when we had the road course races that's some of the most fun I've had in a stock car, just because it's different... though I wouldn't want to do it every week. I enjoy it and I think I'm ok with it. I don't discriminate since I grew up racing dirt, where you turn right more than left anyways.
We were under yellow at Phoenix and there was someone dressed up like Ricky Bobby in the stands and I noticed him and called it in on the radio.
I have a Chevy Tahoe right now, as far as a dream car... a Mercedes S63.
