Hosting literally does the same thing, with the exception of not having to click to join the chat of the person’s stream being hosted. From the viewer side of things, at least. I don’t know what it looks like on the Host/Raider side.

Call me crazy, but the screenshots at the top of the article are a pretty terrible example of "fixing" the graphics. The "fixed" screenshot isn't better, its just different. The textures are still low res and blurry.

I am in no way supporting the Bribery Equals Competition business model Epic employs, but there’s a workaround for the controller issue......that requires you to launch EGS itself through Steam, which will then impart Steam’s amazing controller support to every game on EGS. 

I finally got around to starting it up, myself. On my 2080ti, I *can* pump everything up to maximum at my monitor’s 3440x1440, but without DLSS, I get between 20 and 27 fps. Knocking Raytracing Lighting down from Psycho to Ultra seems to stabilize me around 30fps. DLSS Quality does a pretty good job of making it run…

Relatively speaking, nobody is playing or making purchases in Minecraft Earth. It’s not making them money, so they’re shutting it down. Pokemon Go, on the other hand, is still printing money rather handily.
