Wait, you’ve got a 3090 and still only get 40fps with everything maxed? Are you using an older CPU, or is this just a matter of waiting for CDPR to finish the game’s optimization?

They hell do they mean, “finding a better visual match for voice actor Yuri Lowenthal was ‘a necessity.’”?

Of all the people who have played this game, what percentage have actually seen Yuri’s face? How the hell does that even make a difference, anyway? Actors play voice roles for characters all the time, and they

Is this person modding the game, or are they just extremely skilled at using the items/furniture in the game to get the look they’re going for?

I can’t believe you didn’t link the best one!

I’m sorry, what? You think Inferno looks like Shredder? It looks like a damn horseshoe crab. The one that looks like Shredder is Phoenix.

I honestly don’t mind the eggs. What I would love a lot more, though, is for the Golden tools to be indestructible. Or for there to be a tier higher that is. I just can’t justify using Gold to make the damn things. It’s far too rare, and the tools far too fragile.

“There’s no better way to undercut the emotional resonance of Ghost Han Solo than to do the same thing with Ghost Luke Skywalker roughly 30 seconds later”

I know I’m splitting hairs in terms of what we saw, but Han wasn’t really there. He was Ben having a conversation with his own conscience. It just took the form of

To each their own, but you don’t speak for everyone.

Helluva thing, isn’t it? When the lighting is realistic, you can’t see in a cave that doesn’t have much light.

Especially when he makes Twitch so much money.

I mean....This is also ignoring the elephant in the room that is media coverage(i.e. Kotaku and whoever else writing about it to bring attention to the awesome projects) brings the attention of the copyright owners.

He’s literally trying to convince people trickle-down economics works. “Help us make more money and it will totally benefit you, I swear!”

The guy is literally claiming trickle-down economics actually works. This has never been the case, and it will continue not to be the case even with video games. If/when the publishers/developers start making more money, they will continue to enjoy making more money. They won’t start dropping their prices suddenly.

There is relevant information at the bottom of this page that wasn’t specifically mentioned in the stream: https://store.google.com/product/stadia_founders_edition

Of note:
“Gameplay experience will vary depending on internet connection and device. 4K-capable HDTV and high-speed broadband internet connection required to

I mean, you basically just described the predicament of anyone trying to explain Minecraft to someone who doesn’t understand the concept. That it’s going to be on cell phones and an AR game doesn’t seem to change that.

Probably because that’s what a character moves into when using a ground or aerial dodge.

The way I see it, it’s completely fair. They’d have to extend hitboxes out to the fore- and background to fix it. Seems to me that planning one’s attacks to make sure they physically connect the character model of your opponent is perfectly acceptable.

“Q-Games founder Dylan Cuthbert (of PixelJunk gaming fame) introduced a Stadia concept called “state share,” which enables the game to code a particular moment...”

This struck me as kind of funny. They’re introducing something into a game service that has existed in game emulators since practically their beginning and

It kind of looks like Peter Molyneux’s game Godus.

Kind of off-topic and just a nit-pick:
I do so wish people would stop spelling Freeza’s name the way Funimation decided to spell it.
Nothing important, just a nit-pick
