We already see this in countless vehicles. It won’t be anything new. Have you stepped into a VW/Audi/Seat/Škoda lately?

I believe that the Nissan and Renault do share platforms, but not across the entire lineup. I agree that it would have done Nissan well to offer some Renault products in the US market. I also happen to think most of the Renault versions of the shared products are better looking.

You might want to add Ram trucks to your list. Quite a few people consider them more than just a little satisfactory and profitable.

It says something that their ancient platforms continue to sell so well. Their complaint is a valid one: development costs are huge, too huge. Do customers care their models are old? Not Dodge’s. No title, either. F that.

The Audi Quattro, by comparison, is a normal car.

This is my new favorite Lego car.

I kind of expect a kid’s hand to come down, pick these up and push them around, making vrooming and screeching noises as they do so.

I love the side profile.

Don’t forget the RZ! Less roof, more wedge. 100% wedge.
