The Social Network had a great script, maybe because Sorkin was hired to write it and the source material wasn't his own creation. 40 minutes into The Newsroom I decided not to tune in again. The writing is too self indulgent and the fictional news network breaking stories weeks before real news shows did left a bad

I still think it's possible for viewers to convince themselves the show wrapped up after the first season, saving them from investing another 13 hours of frustration and red herrings. Linden was satisfied and on the plane back home to her fiancee, Richmond was the killer and got taken out at the end. Holder did some

This reads exactly like a Jezebel comment, a site that fails to actually represent the views of the majority of feminists. The line "Women don't watch TV with their vaginas" reads like something straight from any of their interchangeable writing staff that try to strike up non-existent gender focused controversy.

This season felt strange, as so much happened but it didn't feel like it at the end of the run. (Maybe it's because it went by so quickly.) I thought this finale was the weakest of all the seasons (save for Campbell's speech and Don walking away from the set) especially considering the incredible run of

Mad Men wouldn't be the same without Peggy. I thought the series might follow her at the other firm next season as she rises, while simultaneously showing Don becoming more of a dinosaur in the ad industry. It'll be sad after spending "years" with her character and seeing her fight hard to get where she is to just

Completely disagree with this list on DareDevil. The Director's Cut of that film actually made it good and closer to the comics it was based on. I find it odd that it was even included here since many critics and fans feel its the far superior version.

With this news I'm definitely not watching next year. I wanted to fast forward every time Tate's screechy annoying (Poochie?) character came on the screen.

This season just keeps getting better, truly an Emmy deserving episode on all fronts. With the theme of the new overtaking the old, Peggy's exit makes me wonder if the show is heading in a direction where SCDP slowly becomes bankrupt or outdated and the young talent moves on to bigger, better things. I hope Mad Men
