Most people don't know that the Big Bang Theory has a live studio audience. They're just far too enthusiastic.

When "Two and a Half Men" came up as one of the worst television shows ever my dad asked me how that was possible since it's been on for 9 years. I said something like, "Transformers made a billion dollars, does that make it better then The Shawshank Redemption?"

Completely agree with you, I have no idea where Kevin's remark came from. I'm 22 and don't know anyone else my age that doesn't like Robin Williams. Most of my friends and I grew up watching him in Jumanji, Jack, Hook, Flubber, Patch Adams etc.

This'll probably get buried, but a B for a Betty episode? Spot on. January Jones is probably my least favorite actress so this season has been fantastic for excluding her. Sally's multiple catty jabs at her throughout the episode were nice, although I hope she retains some of Megan's friendliness. I didn't expect Don…
Another excellent episode (and write-up). Alexis Bledel is one of the few actresses that I don't feel fits on the show. Maybe it's because she's been in so many movies/shows that it "breaks the illusion" but her performance felt distracting.
This was an incredible episode, Mad Men's one of those shows that just keeps getting better and better. I found it interesting how all of these scenarios wouldn't have played out if Roger and Don went on that trip together. Don sitting out on the Heinz meeting had disastrous results, as did his trip with Megan. This…
Ken seems to be the only one in that office who's capable of separating home life from work. Roger can tell him to stop writing but he's not going to, because as soon as he leaves the building it's "the real world" again. It reminded me of the scene last year where Pete (?) tried to get him to use his family's…
In your stray observations are you hinting that the Dark Knight Rises may out turn as bad as Green Lantern? How dare you!
Completely agree with your remark on "surviving the season." I watched the final episodes out of obligation even though they were terrible and it felt like an accomplishment. I won't be tuning it next year as it's sure to get worse.
This season the Office has lost close to half of their viewers compared to last year. I can't wait to see it getting The Killing's numbers soon. This show just needs to end already.
Not likely it'll be back, Hell on Wheels has stronger ratings. Last week viewership dropped to 1.35 million while last season averaged about 2.30.
After the horrible season one finale I just pretended it wrapped the show up and that Linden got her man, the case was solved and the series ended.
Completely agree with you, compared to season's two or three the Office is like an entirely different show now. I'm just finishing off these last couple of episodes out of obligation but after that I'm done with this series.
Finally got around to starting season five of Mad Men after letting the episodes pile up the past few weeks. There was a surprising amount of honesty in this episode, from Megan calling Don by his real name to Lane explaining to Joan how bad the office needed her and Peggy being called out, it was refreshing. I was…
The Office's ratings have plummeted this season, continuously going down each week (I think last episode scored just over 4 million viewers). The show is just painful to watch now, as it's a poor imitation of what it used to be. "Goodbye Michael" to me was the finale, everything since then has just been some alternate…
It also helps that Curb seasons have 10 episodes each instead of the non-HBO standard 24.
It's funny you say that, because Syfy is coming out with a new Battlestar Galactica this year called Blood & Chrome. The recent news is that they decided not to air it on tv and may put it online instead.
