I did a trackday in my Miata a few months ago, and they had an all-McLaren rungoup going as well. I’m not a supercar goggler, but it was really something to see 40ish of these spacecraft in one place at one time.

I’d shy away from a 987.1 - there’s a reason they’re cheaper than the 987.2.
The chromies on my new-to-me C6Z were a 1,995.00 option. In 2008.
automotive equivalent of wearing a bike helmet to eat brunch.
Was hoping someone would call me on the missing “are”.
No problems so far, 51K miles on a 2008. It’s garaged and doesn’t spend a lot of time parked outside for any reason, which may be helping it stay together. There’s a guy on corvetteforum who injected glue and stuck it back down, so there may be hope!
I’ve got 3LZ in my C6Z, and it’s quite an improvement over the base dash and door panels. Be interesting to see what the upcharge is on the C8.
It’s hard to watch because those guys unbearable douchebags, or at least they play them on TV.
How is the new NSX selling?
Pretty stoked I bought one a couple months ago.
He has a voice?
I’m not sure I want to argue with your thesis, but your leadin is totally contrary to the post:
That’s atrocious and you should feel bad for posting it.
thanks!
Why are the GM’s on steelies? Seems kinda weird. Maybe easier to fit in the train cars? Or destined for dealer-added aftermarket ones?
What’s in the passenger seat?
Good ass Jalop, Jason.
Great story, thanks for posting. What sort of fuel system is that? Looks like something early and mechanical, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s more modern with just a vintage appearance.
Viper, I’ll grant you that. And after “sitting” in the back seat of the Mustang, I realized if I was going to buy an effective two-seater, I could save 30K, 500#, and about a foot of length by buying an actual two-seater. Which, incidentally, also shares components with rental cars (I’d assume, at least, GM being GM).
Narrow crack pipe for me. I’ve seen (nearly as) nice ones locally for 12Kish including color matched hardtops. Sure they have more miles, but honestly, miles aren’t really an issue for Miatas.
