If you’re working from home, you’ve always been subsidizing your employer.

Yep, enjoy it while it lasts fellow 5%’er.

Funny thing, as a high earner in CA, with a low mortgage and whoppin’ property tax, I’m coming out about 15K to the good this year - I finally get the CTC (never have before), 24K is more than I’d itemize, and thanks to AMT, I’d effectively lost the exemptions anyway.

This is brilliant advice. Except most people spend what they bring home.... so for some people, it makes sense to have their tax refunds kind of like a super short-term IRA. Besides, the “interest” the paycheck-to-paycheck people forgo is zero.

It’s not bad in Swedish, though.

FYI, I took the time to see the belt routing. The rest of your high-horse comments may be accurate, but the rear belt on the crank runs up to the tensioner, around the blower, around the idler, around the AC compressor, and back down to the crank. Neutral - I think the EV credit should phase out with income.  The 200K+++ earners driving Teslas would do so without the credits.  The average slob debating a three year old Prius vs a shiny new Leaf could use a nudge.

That’s gold right there.

A buddy who thinks “more expensive is better” picked up a round of Blue Label as a stopgap for PVW. FANTASTIC.  Hope to try the Pappy some day.

Or do the smart thing:

That was my thought as well. But honestly, what can you do in a 6K# 177hp Jeep that will get you pulled over?

Well stated.  Do you think that muleness is what keeps resale so high?  15 year old WRX’s are still stupid money.

That’s amazing. 1200cc with those boat-anchor wheels (Ferrari, chortle) has got to be exhilarating.

Thank you for a voice other than “big business is evil”.

Forgive my lack of hipness, but how is this different than fourth-wall gags dating back to the dawn of cinema?  I get that it’s edgy to use “meta” (I clicked the article hoping for clarification), but ... really ... is this new?

Um, sounds like you fixed it just right.

I’ve got a zillion of them.
