Why have they not been committed? Everything I've seen of them on that joke of a show (which admittedly is very little) and what keeps coming out about them proves they're completely head-in-ass crazy. And what attorney would ever admit to representing them? One with a strip mall office? With a JD from that crazy

@Cheney Guevara: I was taking it as a joke. No offense taken, sorry if it appeared that there was.

@Alibelle: Nobody ever told me that was the new equivalent of the c-word. I apologize if you were offended. I've never equated that word as so offensive, especially since I hear women (intelligent women, mind you) using it all the time.

@Cheney Guevara: Delaware? Christ, I wasn't preaching abstinence or don't touch yourself. I just don't view sex as sport. Maybe that's my problem, I'm certainly not making it anyone else's. Unless they give a rat's ass about what I may think of them. And if that's the case, they got whole 'nother set of issues.

@Beauregard: And Alibelle as well: Slut?? As a shaming word? You seem to be giving it the same weight as the C-word, a reaction which is a little irrelevant and outmoded if you ask me. Who got together and decided the s-word was something to women akin to drawing Allah to a Muslim? Asshole, piece of shit, gee,

I guess I'm a little old fashioned, but spending this much time analyzing all the fucking you do in college, (and no, I don't think the numbers we're talking about here qualify any where near slut) really kind of takes the fun out of sex. And THAT makes her kind of a slut. I mean, we all know people who are in

This whole set-up with Bristol on DWTS has got to be the lamest media effort to ride the Palin horse I've ever seen. Unlike the othe B/C list "celebrities" in her age group who have been on the show, Bristol hardly qualifies as eye candy (I need bleach for my eyes after looking at ther) and has done nothing other

@Deeba: I guess from what I've seen from Thai culture both here and there, on a day to day basis the culture doesn't seem to be that patriarchical. I will admit that most of the wealth, the top executive positions, and cripes, they have a King, but as an on the street, in rural areas, day to day living just doesn't

"thought it was a vampire movie for people who were really into orienteering or something".......stop it, you're killing me. Plus you just made me wake up my daughter with a sudden burst of laughter and juice narrowly missing my 'puter. (orienteering.......that is so good!)

@mmagdalene: Vague comments like "lack of reporting" always scare me. Joe McCarthy used the same terms to scare people. I'm not saying these things don't happen, but the term really does nothing to help discern this issue from abuse of ANY women.

Having been married to a Thai woman (who I met over here, the circumstances of how, most of you would find hilarious) and having been exposed to the social conventions that go on within Thai culture (guess what, they don't drop them at the border) I found this guy's post laughable. Where is he meeting these shrinking

@girlzilla: I tried to use words you might understand. Your clarification of your comment is appreciated though. Although my point, which you seemingly missed, was that calling by her statement "pretty irresponsible" you basically put yourself in a pot/kettle situation. From which I felt your meaning was easily

@armadillo: Perhaps condescending. Hostile, I think not. And not liking or disagreeing with the substance of my comment is not same as it lacking substance. It compelled you to respond, didn't it? I sure you can't imagine someone as smart as yourself responding to substanceless comment. You'd do better to ignore

@smmo: Do you even have a point? Think about what you said and what it has to do with the article or the discussion.

@CaptainChristine: GET YOUR FACTS CORRECT. It didn't happen from the Adult section. Besides, if this dirtbag wanted the ex raped, there are countless other ways to get fellow dirtbags to join in.

@girlzilla: And your response doesn't prove it does. Put a little more thought into your comments and they won't seem so reactionarily stupid.

Has anyone ever received the guilt trip of the person accepting the breakup but insisting they've always remained good friends with their exes and expect to in this situation as well? (I'm looking at you divine lioness) I suspect that's why DL says she's never been broken up with, that instead they decided to be

@dulcedeleche713: Perhaps ironically this sounds more like satire. (I suspect it is.)

When the editorial board understands satire, then perhaps they can make such bs claims. But quite clearly, they do not understand satire. I would give them a suggested reading list to acquaint themselves with true satire, but alas, the books have no pictures.
