You guys realize it rains less annually in Seattle than in Houston, New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville, NYC, Miami, Boston and Philly, right?

The answer, as always: Miata.

I think people these days are getting more and more gratification out of analog devices and experiences that require effort to reap reward. It's why hipsters are into craft brewing and farm-to-table welding or whatever.

I'm looking for an old 911 at the moment (who isn't though? haha), so I'm a bit obsessed as well. Have you had an SC and a 3.2? I found a good deal on a 77 with a 3.0 that I may jump on, but have been holding out for a G50 Carrera.

I feel like this whole "they intentionally hold the Cayman back/the Cayman's chassis is so much better than the 911's" thing is becoming a circle jerk at this point.

There's a HUGE difference between a non-M E30 and an E30 M3. Also, the number of E30 M3s that made it to the states is very low.

Oh yep, good call on the tea tray.

Pretty much haha.

Is that white car a 964 backdated?

IMO the best part of the 911 engine note is the sound of the overrun in between shifts.

Oh, I know the pain of expensive rebuilds well. I have an E30 M3 haha.

I am now 10000 percent torn on whether I want to build a longhood RS backdate or a 74 IROC-looking car with ridiculously wide fenders and whale tail.

There's a reason you only see ass shots of a 996.

Any Seattle-area Jalops want to meet up for this?

I agree.

I actually really like the way it was done. The subtlety of it all was what made it so funny. And that double-take that Ken Block does when he looks at it.

Exit 22B and the OJ Homage were brilliant little additions.

Well the BMW weighs less by 600-700 lbs depending on your configuration - so I don't agree that they've sacrificed weight with this generation. It also makes 20 less hp, but 20 more torque than the Lexus, but the turbo brings more hp/tq across a much broader rpm range.

Is that a Mazda6 wagon? Holy crap that's gorgeous.
