OMFG that pass at three minutes was AWESOME.

I wonder if it's some kind of momentum-triggered fire suppression system? I honestly have no idea, but that was the first thing that came to mind.

Now playing

Not to be a buzz killington, but the backing track that Ice Cube uses in this song is actually originally from an Isley Brothers song:

I love Egan's stuff as well, but I'm also really enjoying the new staff and redesigned layout.

I love the impatient Jeep driver video:

I guess they were just recreating the safety measures from that era too.

A Tilke wet dream.

My E30 M3 breaks more hipster necks in downtown Seattle than I can fathom. Hipsters love box flares apparently.

He forced whoever that was (Grosjean?) off the track in a braking zone.

Jethro Bovingdon - no contest

Nothing wrong with the torques, but the weight and length of an I6 don't really fit the character of a 2002 IMO.

The F20C fits the character of a 2002 way better than an M54 or S5x. Just because it's a Honda engine doesn't make it a bad thing.

Yeah... I actually work in the industry, so I understand there's zero chance that it will happen, but it doesn't stop me from yearning for a domestic AWD hot hatch/turbo rocket competitor. In fact, I don't think I ever said it was likely to happen, so you're preaching to the choir here.

If you look at the Focus ST vs the competition, the nearly unanimous verdict is that it's faster and more unhinged than the competition, but not nearly as refined (as say the GTi).

I'm going to keep bringing this up until it happens:

Meanwhile, black spray paint markets across the world took a hit as BMW has begun shadowlining its own kidneys. (That's the most BMW-nerd joke ever made. We'll see who catches on).

It would be cool to do a charity event where you shut down a highway for a day and let people do a standing mile. At the end of the mile there's a cop there with a radar detector who clocks you and then writes you a "speeding ticket". Your final speed at the end of the mile would correlate to a predetermined dollar

Let me know when I can buy one with AWD and those crazy fender flares. I'll be the guy camping outside the Ford dealership for one.

I think the real answer here is to get an E36 M3/4/5.
