This game seemed like a mix of Arkham, Far Cry, and Twisted Metal. This review seems to support those assumptions. It still sounds like fun to me, so long as they fix the few odd controller choices Chris mentioned.

I agree that this promotion is silly, but I think this is at least a fairly creative spin on pre-order bonuses. This marketing campaign is actually semi-themed with the content of the game, which is interesting.

I’m actually not a fan. I think the gold accents were a poor design choice.

Honestly, this would be very tempting if I didn’t already have a console. Actually, this is how it should’ve launched in the first place: 1 TB harddrive and a much better argument for a “next gen” controller.

You were alluding to a situation where the game came packaged with DLC that would come at a price to those who bought the game new. A common practice, sure, but not the situation here. You do not need to do anything to get the DLC for free. It is simply free for everyone.

Yeah they throw the Superman references in your face with the henchman dialogue. I didn’t see anything in the city expressing Superman, though. And maybe they will attempt Superman next. Though if they have grown tired of Batman, they may have grown tired of super heroes in general. I believe they could pull it off.

That doesn’t apply. You don’t need to buy the game to get the DLC.

I think this ranking is decent. The top few line up pretty well with how I feel. I would put Inside Out above Up, though.
