The blaster Lando’s holding in the cover art looks like it’s based on the full size toy blaster as well. Local bookstore was probably sold out of Starlog magazine when the art was due and the only photo reference available was a Service Merchandise catalog.

Got these last time they were $40. For the price, a really good deal. Sound a bit muddy but acceptable for music with noise cancellation, fine for movies. Wouldn’t use them for music without needing noise cancellation. Noise cancellation itself is pretty good - obviously not as good as a $300+ pair, but great for $40
