I think the only 'con' is how it looks. There are so many benefits, both to law enforcement and to normal people who may need to identify a vehicle for a multitude of reasons. Literally every country on earth is on my side in all this, except for small portions of the US and Canada.

My C7 Z51 vette is so much better than my 996 it's just not fair. The gap between a Miata and 996 is smaller than the gap between 996 and C7. And somehow my C7 gets 3 MPG better doing the same commute.
