The chubby woman about to walk through obviously has explosives surgically implanted in her abdomen.

@Jason Chen: and yet it was matts own words that brought them into it.

oh, and the 35,000 downloads of cyanogenmod was on the first night it was released. there have been many many thousand more since.

@matt buchanan: really? tell that to the 35,000 people who downloaded cyanogenmod's latest release a few weeks ago. Tell it to the developers who see tens of thousands of downloads of their custom roms. Tell it to the 100k+ members of XDA developers who have and continue to do so. Tell it to the tech support

"The irony, of course, is that most of the careful design work that's gone into Android 2.3 won't ever be seen by a large portion of Android users. The definitive Android design won't be experienced by people who own phones covered in custom software. There's only a handful of Android phones in the US where you'll be

you know, theres a really easy way to get around most of these scams (with the exception of stuff like the "reduced cost postage" scam): PAY CASH.

@xhedgehogx: nah, just have common sense...and pay in cash.

In Communist Russia, zero divides by YOU!

Well, this falls in line with the typically boneheaded decisions the 9th Circuit has been turning out for the last 30 years or so. Cant say that it surprises me coming from that source.

Link corrections...thanks giz..

This little infographic is nice and all, but you also have to examine the pretext.

Hey, look, a shitty computer desk that sits so low to the ground you either have to sit on the floor or become a hunchback to use it! Oh, and its designed for a shitty computer! Congratulations, your shipment of fail has arrived.

@land44: thats 0.016% on the eris. and i'd suppose that people who own androids are effected quite a bit more than your underestimation, considering calls arent limited to what kind of phone you own, so an android owner calls an iphone owner and the iphone owner holds the phone "wrong" and poof.

@OCEntertainment: Same thing with facetime. what about people exposing themselves over that?

@RaindropBebop: dont use a motorola device. if you're wondering if the device can be rooted, i'd recommend not pre-ordering any device in the future. wait a couple weeks after its released and look around the android community and see if it's been rooted and development for it is running. XDA is a great place to start

@archercc: in such a light, yes. apple makes no bones about the fact that everything of theirs is proprietary and closed source. motorola, on the other hand is part of the OPEN handset alliance and running an OPEN SOURCE platform.

@A.Jaswal: wont happen. this is entirely due to apple's decade long wait to get into the gaming industry. half the people I know who own macs also own a windows-based PC specifically for gaming, because while you can certainly bootcamp a mac and run windows and have *some* gaming ability, it is very limited and the

Of course SJ doesnt get game economics! If he did, it wouldnt have taken 5 years to get Portal and TF2 to mac. But unlike all us dirty PC users, the gospel according to Steve says that macs are better used for art and music and video. Congratulations to Steve on catching yet another multibillion dollar train ten years

@Roobs: what do you expect from a guy who doesnt understand that the black on black turtleneck look went out with the beatniks in the mid 60s? :D

Apple has a new spokesman: Obi Wan. Next thing you know, we'll be using the force to make calls instead of 3G.
