Wall Street & Spy Game
Wall Street: That's not to say the movie isn't good, but a slick TV series following a selection of hedge fund manager/investment banker toolbags would be pretty great. You couldn't ask for a better time to do a show like that.

He's too late for that one.

@Charley One-Eye… books isn't a bad place to start, but for the novice Firstie I'd recommend the Videocracy section, or possibly the competitions pages. You might get to be a firstie and a lastie in one fell swoop.

Tipper Gore
She's back on the market you know. Oh yeah…..

Seeing as this is set in an Arab country, shouldn't it have been called Souks and the City? Or Sheikhs and the City?

She's nun of the above.

I'm actually having my under the stairs toilet renovated at the moment. I'm having a super-sized shelf put in above the mirror in order to accommodate super-sized shiterature for my super-sized dumps.

On an emotional level I thought the ending was great, even though it laid it on pretty thick in the church. That said, given how much of this show was about the various mysteries, and how the producers emphasised this with countless spoof websites, clues, red herrings, interviews etc a bit more resolution on some of

Agreed. The finale in For a Few Dollars More isn't far behind either.

Benjamin Button: Terrible, terrible movie, heartbreaking finale
Spoiler: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was achingly boring, but the last couple of minutes really choked me up. I saw this a couple of days ago, so it's fresh in my mind. Maybe it moved me because I now have an eight month old son, so the sight of

Battlestar Galactica was set in the past (relative to Earth at least), hence the cruddy finale.

Heroes and Flashforward
I'm surprised no one has mentioned these. Great concepts, terrible execution. Get a strong team of writers and actors (but keep the Hobbit in Flashforward), and you could come up with something genuinely great.

Music: I think that the Super Furry Animals have been pretty consistent for the past fifteen or so years and I still look forward to every new album they release.

Damn… Because I live in the UK I have to wait till Friday to watch this
Anyway, not reading the review or any posts till then.

How does V compare to Heroes and Flashforward?
It's about to start in the UK. Having watched the other two, and been monumentally disappointed, I'm beginning to suspect I shouldn't waste my time. These sci fi shows are always so appealing, but with the honourable exception of Lost, they never live up to their promise.

Ach… here not hear.

Did someone say Animalympics? God I loved that cartoon as a child. Found it again on youtube about six months ago, and now hear I am.

Behind convent walls
Sounds promising

Hmm, I always used 1980 as a benchmark for whether people were too young. Guess I better think again.
