Did seven pointed stars not exist before Game of Thrones or something?

One of the more recent and egregious examples of this has to be Jennifer Spence in the pilot for the Van Helsing show. The show introduces about a dozen characters in the vampire filled post-apocalyptic world, only 3 of which are people of color. A black woman, a black teenage boy, and an asian woman. When Spence…
As a singing performance it was pretty bad. But as an overall production I rather enjoyed it. The music and dancing was good, the camerawork was impressive, lighting up the city was awesome etc.
He’s made 10 movies, the trilogy taking up spots #4, #6, and #8. So, not really “early” in his career.
The GDC awards are the closest thing to the Oscars for game developers.
Agreed. And I’m not just saying that because I have a thing for fit chicks.
Closest we’ve gotten is probably Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2 and Jessica Biel in Blade Trinity.
They finished filming Avengers awhile ago. Captain Marvel is just starting, hence the photos.

You wouldn’t want millennial demons torturing ancient Romans. Maybe upper management types like Sean cut their teeth torturing people from previous eras.
Just so we’re clear, you think a movie about a mute janitor falling in love with a fishman set in the 1950s is “playing it safe”?
Why would you expect a medical droid to know anything about basic anatomy? That would have been far too unbelievable.
Boring is correct. It had some good ideas but never did anything with them. In particular I liked the idea of a Latina Dorothy.
I’m ashamed that I liked this.
Before they jumped. Writers just needed her out of the way I guess. Doesn’t make a lot of sense if you think about it for 2 seconds. Surely the Discovery would get her to medical treatment faster than any shuttle. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I thought dancing baby was the undisputed first viral video. I remember seeing local news stories about that as a kid in the 90s. Everybody was emailing it to everybody else.
I agree with everything you’re saying, except Suda isn’t really operating in that space either.
His games are more meta commentary than anything else. Flower, Sun, and Rain is one of the most excruciating and tedious games to play, but it’s not out of incompetence or willful difficulty, it’s a deconstruction of game…
