The terms still get some usage in forensic anthropology as there are some skeletal patterns that are useful in identifying remains, but they recognize they aren’t actually 3 separate races.

Yeah, it seems like it could have been a simple thing to have Superman with a full beard and long hair when he was revived. It adds to the idea that he never really died (since his hair kept growing), he was just completely out of energy.
