I'm sure you didn't mean it this way, but whether she is read by others as cis or not shouldn't impact her rights. "Passing" is at least 50% pure genetic lottery. We all do the best we can with what we have, but this just can't be the legal standard.

Yeah, I kind of wonder how much of this is just a result of a store that doesn't want to pay to provide privacy to all its patrons with proper doors. Many people I know are fairly private about their bodies and mortified by flimsy dressing rooms.
