Agreed. You summed it up nicely.

Love your list, Tina!

Loved Resonance of Fate!

Every night it's lights out and character tucked in bed. It would just feel weird otherwise.

All you need is Absolute Steve's walkthrough on Gamefaq site. That walkthrough has EVERYTHING you need to know about the game.

Utterly shocking! I also grew up listening to his podcasts. He will be missed. Please convey good thoughts to his family for me. RIP

Yes to both questions, although I like to hold onto games which I know I will play again. Basically, I'll do an inventory once-a-year to declutter my game collection. I've always had good luck in purchasing used games, so I don't see it as a problem.

Say it's not true. I've always enjoyed Atlus games; I think they're one of the better game designers out there. Fingers crossed for Atlus!!

Yeah, I've been encountering that in my attempts to post comments on TAY and other Kotaku articles. If you don't happen to post early enough, your comments aren't likely to be approved and posted.

Once again, I politely disagree with you. I thought XIII was incredibly easy and required no real strategy—I believe I completed the game in less than 23 hours. There are hardly any towns in the game. Moving around is like a long marathon. Your party is completely healed after each battle. The best tactic is almost

I have to politely disagree with you about FFXIII. The game was built on a rail—it lacked that Final Fantasy charm. IMHO, the last Final Fantasy that had a great story was IX, so it's been quite awhile. Square just needs to return to the basics that made early Final Fantasy games fun, engaging, and challenging.

Fashion victim!

I want to echo Theskadudeguy's comments. It's a thoughtful and well written piece. I can't believe such behavior takes place at such a well-known and respected conference. I'm glad you shared these stories—perhaps it will open more dialogue on the subject.

What a cool rule! I need to adopt something similar, having been burned by the WiiU.

I agree! I thought Demon's Souls and Dark Souls got it right with the whole invading quest. I don't play a lot of multi-player, but I did with DS and DkS!

I liked the snow level in FFVII. Snowboarding, jumping jacks—what's not to like.

You forgot Dr. Robotnik

I also love IX—most memorable was the cutscene of the airship crashing through the gate! I'll never forget the first time I saw that animation—I thought it was awesome!

For me, the top three FF games ever are: VII, IX, and Tactics. I play these three regularly and never tire of them. I just don't understand the VII haters. While the story may be convoluted, its themes have relevance today. I love that VII evokes such strong emotions from me; I still cry over Seto & Nanaki's reunion,
